Meet the Artist
I’m Michelle, a visual artist based in Charlotte, North Carolina. I travel regularly across the Carolinas shooting in many locations, and will certainly travel further if your vision warrants it. I aim to capture unexpected moments, create memories, and document milestones. I work to develop relationships with every client, current, past or future. You trust me to tell your story through my lens & I believe we need a great relationship to do so.

Everyone deserves quality, respect, and happiness whether you’re newly engaged, blessed to see many years of marriage, celebrating a birthday, graduating, expecting, religious, not religious, LGBTQ+, Black, White, or Blue. With that being said, we proudly photograph LGBTQ+ couples, and anyone else who shares our vision.
As a child I struggled with my self image, now I make it my goal to pull the confidence out of anyone I photograph.
Outside of Photography I am a Millennial Techie, a proud sneakerhead, a music enthusiast, and a mom. I’m a Duke fan, a Carolina Panthers Fan, and Charlotte Hornets fan, always rooting for the home teams. I’m forever a 49er, completing my undergraduate studies at UNC Charlotte, but I can’t forget my AGGIE PRIDE, as I received both of my graduate degrees from the Illustrious North Carolina A&T State University.

While I have been capturing memories for as long as I can remember, M. Robinson Photography & Film was officially launched in 2015 when my best friend trusted me with her graduation photos. That turned out well, and here we are today. We specialize in portrait photography for all occasions, event photography and videography, and wedding photography and videography.

Weddings & Elopements
We LOVE love and anything associated with love. Every couple should have a great relationship with their photographer, and we aim to build that relationship through the proposal and the engagement, in order to offer a remarkable wedding or elopement experience. Whether it’s capturing the drop to one knee, the excitement and surprise of the bride/groom to be when they say yes, the intimate engagement session, or the tears shed when seeing the bride/groom walking down the aisle, we are blessed to witness these moments, and to capture them as memories.
Our wedding experiences start at $1,500.
Portraits
Life always has exciting moments and we aim to capture them all. We offer special sessions for graduating seniors as they step into their futures. We have sessions for expecting mothers experiencing the joy of carrying a child. We offer birthday, holiday, and family sessions for remembering the best moments, & for your most important days of the year. We offer headshots for those who want to stand out in the business world. We can capture all of these exiting moments and more so that you can cherish them forever.
Our portrait experiences start at $200.
Events
Events should be never be forgotten. We capture many events, photographing special participants, and capturing those candid moments that make the best memories. Whether it’s a corporate gathering, a birthday party, a networking event, family reunion, a church function, or a school play, we will ensure is it memorable for years to come.
Our event experiences start at $250/hr.
Videography
Videos help you remember your moments in a different way. Videography allows us to capture all smiles, tears, hugs, kisses, laughs, toasts, dances, and speeches in a way that preserves those memories. While we aim to capture all of the above through our photography, videography allows us to capture both movement and sound. We provide full service media solutions, recording videos that capture the real experience of being there in the moment. We offer aerial video, cinematic video, and documentary style video coverage. From wedding and event coverage, to marketing and promotional material, we have a solution to fit your needs.
